How deep should the water be?
Use the mat only in sufficiently deep, clear and open water where users cannot contact the bottom. Keep it well away from docks, boats, rocks and other hard surfaces. Never jump or dive onto the mat, and always follow local water-safety guidance.
Can I use it in saltwater?
Yes. Float-Eh water mats can be used in saltwater. Rinse the mat, tether and hardware with fresh water after use and allow everything to dry before rolling it for storage.
How do I get it to lay flat?
The mat lays flat on the water. If the ends retain some curl after storage, gently bend them in the opposite direction before unrolling the mat onto the water.
Does UV-stabilized mean the colour can never fade?
UV additives help resist sun-related degradation, but no outdoor material is completely immune to prolonged exposure. Dry and store the mat out of direct sunlight when it is not being used to protect its appearance for longer.
Why don’t you advertise an enormous weight capacity?
Foam mats are highly buoyant, and people in the water are naturally buoyant too. Very large distributed-weight figures do not necessarily describe comfortable, practical use. We recommend each size based on the number of people who can realistically move, play and relax without overcrowding.
Adult supervision is required. Properly fitted personal flotation devices are recommended. Water mats are recreational products and are not designed for towing.
