Precautions should be taken to eliminate activities that could cause entanglement in the rope and/or anchoring device.
It works like you would expect, but this is the 3rd time I've had to replace the tether in the same number of years. On a windy day, if the mat goes airborne, the tether snaps.

Love the quality and size of the floaty. Would be better if there were handles for a floaty of this size and if the tether was easier to release from the floaty itself.
